  • The General Pension Organization in the Kingdom has clarified what was circulating about increasing salaries for pensioners after a royal order was issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

  • A question was asked to the Foundation as to whether pensioners will receive the Royal Increase or not, and the answer was that the Royal Increase will be paid to pensioners regardless of whether they are military or civilian, and that the increase will range from 3% to 5%. , based on the decisions of the Saudi Council of Ministers.

Paying the royal increase to pensioners Having discussed the decision of the General Pension Organization to pay the royal increase to pensioners, we proceed to discuss the value of this increase in relation to pensioners’ salaries, where the increase will be as follows:

  • For those whose salaries are less than 15 thousand, the royal increase is 10%.

  • For salaries ranging from 15 to 20 thousand riyals, the increase is 5%.

  • However, those whose salaries exceed 20,000 riyals will not receive this increase.

Conditions for obtaining lump-sum assistance

There are a number of conditions that the applicant must meet in order to obtain lump sum assistance. These conditions are reflected in the following points:

  • The applicant must be a Saudi national, as well as his wife.

  • Permanent residence within the Kingdom.

  • The beneficiary must be over 35 years old.

  • Do not have a trade register.

  • His salary must be less than three thousand Saudi riyals if he is not married. For a married man, his salary must be less than 8,680 riyals.

  • There are no properties registered in his name.
