The events in the registered case No. 11184 of 2023, crimes, date back to the time when the concerned authorities received a report that an employee of the East Alexandria Court had misappropriated a file containing gold jewelry belonging to his employer.

Investigation revealed that the suspect, “AMA”, a former first-degree employee of the East Alexandria Court, in his capacity as a government official and one of the depositories, the secretary of the Bab Sharqi District Court and the treasurer of the treasury of valuables, has embezzled and partially deposited the gold jewelry with registration number 3/15 AD. He is awaiting legal proceedings and the mechanism provided is in accordance with his job description, and he has misappropriated it from himself, attached it to his property, and He has torn and destroyed the envelopes of the Golden Jewelry Warehouse, Al-Ahraz, after opening and breaking the fingerprints of the seals placed on them and replacing them with other non-precious metals. He deposited them in the envelopes. from the Al-Ahraz Warehouse, and put a sticker on it to hide his crime of embezzlement.

The evidence list in the incident showed that the contents consisted of a 21-carat gold chain, an 18-carat gold pendant, an 18-carat gold pendant, 3 18-carat gold rings, a child’s ring, 3 18-carat gold rings, carat gold bracelets, two 18-carat gold necklaces, a gold ring and another gold with 18-carat glass stones. A gold ring, a 21-carat gold bracelet with 3 gold lobes, two pendants, two large gold hearts, 3 pendants, 9 21-carat gold bracelets, 3 gold rings, including two children’s rings, and 3 palm-shaped pendants in 18-carat gold .

A report was drawn up on the incident and the prosecutor took over the investigation, which decided to refer the suspect to the Alexandria Criminal Court, which ruled on the suspect.
