Israeli Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: We condemn the damage caused to Egyptian security forces as a result of “the Houthis’ rocket launches and marches.”

Atlanta, USA (CNN) – Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Lior Hayat said Friday that Israel condemns the damage that befell Egyptian security forces after the Houthis “launched missiles and drones” with the intention of attacking Israel.
Hayat previously wrote on his page on Twitter: “Israel condemns the damage caused to the Egyptian security forces as a result of the missiles and drones launched by the Houthi terrorist organization with the intention of harming Israel.”
The Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesperson added: “The Houthis are agents of the terrorist Ayatollah regime in Tehran, which also controls the terrorist organizations Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas,” he said.
The spokesperson of the Egyptian Armed Forces announced in a statement on his official Facebook page: “One of the unidentified drones fell this morning, Friday 10/27/2023, next to one of the buildings next to Taba Hospital,” adding : “The accident resulted in minor injuries to a number ( 6) One person was discharged from hospital after receiving necessary first aid. The incident is being investigated by a specialized committee of the authorities concerned. “
For his part, Israeli army spokesman for Arab media Avichay Adraee said in a blog post on his page: “We are assessing the damage to Egypt as a result of this threat. Israel will cooperate with Egypt and the United States and strengthen protection. in the region in light of threats from the Red Sea environment.”
