Brittany Mahomes has become fast friends with Taylor Swift after cheering on their NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce at recent Kansas City Chiefs games.
And before Brittany generously welcomed Taylor to the NFL WAG fold, she turned heads with her unique outfits.
It appears the mother of two has themed her on-field wardrobe around the Chiefs’ colors of red, yellow and black – a combination that is difficult for even the most seasoned fashionistas to pull off.
The quarterback’s wife has split opinions on a number of occasions, leading some fans to beg her to hire a stylist like her buddy Taylor.
In April, the Texan beauty posed with Patrick on Instagram, wearing an unusual red dress with dramatic ruffles and a sheer midriff.
She completed her ensemble with hoop earrings and a diamond necklace, while throwing her long wavy hair into schoolgirl pigtails.
Brittany suffered a bit of a fashion faux pas at the ESPYS 2023 on July 12, after heading to the red carpet in a skimpy black dress that exposed an eye-popping amount of chest.
The curious gown also had two buttons that unfortunately looked like nipples.
She also made a splash while attending the premiere of Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ in Los Angeles on July 11, after arriving on her husband’s arm in a silver ruffled dress.
Instead of letting her futuristic outfit do the talking, the socialite completed her look with dramatic mermaid-inspired hair extensions, a glitzy necklace and a bracelet.
Brittany also debuted a very racy look on July 2 during a trip to Vegas.
At the time, she posted on Instagram a photo of herself proudly posing in a black bra, high-waisted panties and thigh-high boots.
She wore a boxy, rhinestone-covered T-shirt dress over it that resembled a football jersey.
Months earlier, on February 15, Brittany showed up to a Chiefs game in a matching silk crop top and pants, paired with yellow pointy heels.
She combined the bohemian ensemble with dramatic curly hair extensions.
It comes after Brittany and Taylor were spotted performing a special handshake in the stands following the Kansas City Chiefs’ first touchdown at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
The dramatic performance received mixed reviews on social media, with some calling it “cringe-worthy” while others said they found it endearing.
Meanwhile, Brittany is said to be excited about the prospect of joining the pop star’s squad, according to a US Weekly insider.
“Brittany is thrilled to be able to build a genuine friendship with Taylor,” the source said Friday, after the ladies faced off at the Chiefs’ game at Arrowhead Stadium a day earlier.
“They’ve hung out a few times and have become pretty close in a short time,” the insider continued.
“Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet and down-to-earth, and they get along really well.”
There’s been more than enough time for the women to connect, as Taylor has already attended three of Patrick and Travis’ matches.
It helps that the NFL teammates are friends off the field, too.
“The fact that Patrick and Travis are best friends makes things even better,” the insider explained. “(Brittany and Taylor) are having a great time and are happy to cheer on their guys together.”
Brittany and Taylor first broke bread at a ladies’ dinner in New York City in late September.
This coincided with the Chiefs’ visit to face the New York Jets. Among Taylor’s friends in attendance were Sophie Turner and Blake Lively.
The next day, the entire team headed to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Chiefs emerged victorious against the Jets, and the group was joined by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Sabrina Carpenter and Hugh Jackman.
