According to the government’s decision, winter time will start on Thursday, October 26, because the government introduced summer time last April. The state’s decision was an attempt to rationalize the consumption of various energy sources such as electricity, gasoline, diesel. and gas.
The Egyptian government had decided to use summer time for six months, and winter time starts on the last Thursday of October, which corresponds to 10/26/2023 at (11:59 PM).
The government has confirmed that, according to the recently issued law on the introduction of the daylight saving time system, the legal time in Egypt is the hour according to the current time, advanced sixty minutes, starting from the last Friday of April, until the end of the last Thursday of October From every year of my birth.
In implementation of the text of the law issued regarding the introduction of the summer time system, the current time in use will be advanced by sixty minutes, starting at midnight (00:01) on Friday, April 28, 2023, until the end of the last Thursday of October, corresponding to 26/10/2023 at (23:59).
