A group of parents of students of the Lycee Al-Hurriya Bab Al-Louq School, affiliated with the Abdeen Administration in Cairo Governorate, called for help regarding what the school principal did today, Monday, by closing the school doors at exactly 8:00 a.m. closing and leaving students and children outside the school walls without the knowledge of the guardian.

I have two children at school and the door was locked. This was said by one of the parents, who refused to give her name. She arrived her children at school at 8am, left them and went to work. she discovered her children standing outside the school gate until 10am.

In the same context, Nada Ali, one of the parents, explained that her primary school-age son was punished today in front of his school for being two minutes late after eight o’clock, saying: Who is responsible for me if my Standing children out of school like this?

The student added that she wrote today’s minutes, No. 4349, Abdeen Administrative, dated 16-10-2023, which states: As a student, I have the right to learn and deal with education in a way that fits education.

The student concluded that the social worker abused her when she found a cell phone on the student and called the police for help, adding that all students outside the school gate were arrested today after entering the laboratory and courtyard at 10 a.m. before they went to the classroom to end the school day.

It is worth noting that Abeer Tawfiq, the school’s principal, wrote on the school’s official page: Gentlemen, parents are not responsible for students left at the school door without a guardian while the door is closed.
